Notes

Very similar to Rhus typhina (Staghorn Sumac). Can sucker freely but if the suckering is controlled by pruning a single strong shrub can be maintained. Suckering colonies are good for bank stabilization, cultivars available. Good heat resistance, moderate growth rate.
