| Natural twisting shape can make for good bonsai type pruning. Extremely drought tolerant. Plant in well-drained soil. Water only when dry, to get establshed. Do not water once established. Important plant for wildlife and First Nations. Prune out older dead wood but do not tip prune. Excellent heat resistance, moderate growth rate. |
