Notes

Excellent foliage plant in dry garden has bonus of purple blue flowers in June. Prune back in spring to keep bushy. Several varieties to choose from:
S. 'Tricolor' has white/pink/sage green leaves, S. 'Purpurea' has purple leaves, S. 'Aurea' has yellow/sage green leaves. These are slightly less cold tolerant than the species S. officionalis - our common cooking sage herb.
Excellent heat resistance, moderate growth rate.
