There are many cultivars of this excellent xeriscape shrub with small variations in height. The native version has yellow flowers and is slightly smaller. Abbotswood, Goldfinger, Mango Tango, and Pink Beauty are popular cultivars. Prune in spring. Slow growth rate. Fair heat resistance.
