Notes
| Many colours available, some with red throats. Very attractive because it blooms later than most shrubs and for much longer. Can be trained as small tree or used in a mixed hedgerow as well as a specimen plant. May be winter pruned as it blooms on new growth. May self seed. Seedlings are easy to remove or spent flowers can be rmoved to prevent seeding. Good heat resistance, moderate growth rate. |
