| Excellent for dry sun, low maintenance and year round appeal. Can shear back foliage by 1/3 when deadheading after first bloom. This helps keep plant compact. Deadheading will encourage rebloom for August. Many varieties available with variations in size, bloom colour. Munstead, Hidcote, and Blue Cushion are fine choices. Can be cut back to close to the ground in spring. Good heat resistance, moderate growth rate. |
