| Excellent shapely tree with white flowers followed by orange berries and dark green leaves. Flowers are somewhat malodorous. May get infected with fire blight. Varieties Sorbus aucuparia 'Michred', Sorbus aucuparia 'Black Hawk', Sorbus x hybrida (oak leafed), and Sorbus decora. Frequently damaged by deer. Fair heat resistance, moderate growth rate. |
